Cutting Truth
[edit]
PreviouslyCutting Truth has always been reactive, letting others make their move first and thus damn themselves by their actions. She was the anvil to her Solar mates hammer. Not a strong figher she stayed behind and organized defenses and supplies during the Primordial War, and fended off sneak attacks and protected supplies going to the troops. After the war, she tempered the Solars wrath with their defeated enemies and tried to institute a fair judicial system with Righteous Voice of the Oppressed and not just a series of punishments as many wanted. As the Solars grew more corrupt with their new power and ignored the laws she help make, she concentrated on protecting the people under her mates rule. As he grew more tyrannical and started to infer that defense of the accused was guilt by association, she was punished and imprisoned for aiding the people he saw as opposing his rule. She was released by a clever legal move and lots of persuasion by her Lunar friends that relied on the fact that she was bound to serve Righteous Voice of the Oppressed and could not oppose him. After her release she had to operate in secret to aid people and arrange for the 'discovery of evidence' among the mortal supporters of Righteous Voice of the Oppressed. After the Usurpation she tried to rule the area as his successor, but that was short lived as she was warned by a Siderial that an assassin was coming for her. She fled to the Bordermarchs to evade her pursuer, who saw his death in the stars if he continued so he wisely let her go. She then spent the next millennium protecting the people loyal to her who were also being hunted, and to the few loyal survivors of her mate that she found. Now that the Dragon-Blooded are in control and are abusing their power, she turns her attention to protecting people from them until she reached the end of her life and died fending off a Raksha that had moved into Creation and began to feed on her people. Cutting Truth was reborn in Chobrok Fra'mer from the Verdana Trade Empire. He comes from a well-to-do mortal family of merchants and officials. Due to a change in the rulingship of the area new appointees were placed in many areas as a reward for their support, as is common practice. Being on the edge of the area the political infighting did not reach the area so people had no chance to choose sides. Their inaction was taken as opposition and the new authorities decided they would take advantage of this. Cho tried to mount a defens against the order, but his pleas to the new government were not answered and he was forced to flee for his life to the wilderness. He teamed up with other 'outlaws' to defend themselves and their families, but they were ultimately discovered and many killed. Cho tried to hold off the troops to let others escape when he was surrounded and then transformed into his Spirit shape of a forest rhino. He was no able to ignore the blades of the army and distract them for his friends to escape. This attracted lots of attention and Cho lead the Army off on a chase towards the Bordermarch were he was found by other Lunars and given his tattoos and taught about the Silver Pact.
