The Glorious Palace of Dominara is in the capital city of
Dominica, Dominara, which has several large towns and many small
ones owing alliegance to the Lord of Dominica. Dominica itself is a
rather expansionist nation, preferring to test the strength of
their neighbors and if they find any to be lacking, they bring them
under the righteous rule of Dominica.
As a part of their observances and a measure of testing the
strength of their neighbors, the Lord of Dominica, Cathak
Ieparif Malador, sends out an invitation to all of the
surrounding nations each year to attend a special ball held in
their honor. It is one means of measuring the strength of
Dominica's neighbors, but it is also a means of asserting authority
over them, the Lord of Dominica informing those present of what new
laws and edicts that they must pass on to their towns and cities
for the year. Guests from other nations can observe how the Lord of
Dominica rules over his subjects, but it is also a warning. Show
weakness, and Dominica will conquer you and subject you to their
laws as well.
